Been saying that same thing well before all this covid 19 stuff. The OEMs can build the coolest sleds or do this or that. But unless winters start turning around for multiple winters the rest of it means nothing. And with winters being poor, I can still see all OEMs going to spring builds only...
Yes I always burp the tank. This off-season I am going to have to bite the bullet and take the sled to the dealer. Maybe have the tps checked along with some other sensors I can't find resistance readings for.
Yes I know. But with the different clutching I'd assume they about equal as far as all that goes. Besides I have seen reports from fellow cat guys who are seeing good milage. But, not trying to hyjack this thread.

I did. Key on I get 44 lbs. Turn the sled on at idle still at 44lbs. Whack the throttle and goes up to 46-48lbs or so then levels out back to 44 lbs. I believe spec is like 38/39 lbs up to 46lbs is considered in spec? Does my readings seem high? I have already changed my pressure regulator, so...
That's awesome, wish I could figure out why mine is so bad on gas. My brothers 2020 900t and my 240 flashed ZR9k nose to tail for 600 miles and I took a gallon more every time. He would get 14+mpg I would get 10mpg. Very frustrating to say the least.
That tune needs to change with all OEMs and dealers due to the power of the internet and great chat forums like this one. Snowmobiles are made in such low quantities that there should be little to no problems with them, especially when a design has been out for more that one season. I can...
And you don't recall how they looked? I find it not that big of a deal to change. I mean I wouldn't want to do it trail side as I don't bring swivels and assorted extensions with me, but in the shop it's no problem at all.
Nice review. I like the idea of this kit but that play in the skis/bars has me worried I would hate it. Big steering play is something that has drove me nuts with Cats in the past.
How have your plugs looked guys, do they look like even in color from cylinder to cylinder? Or have you noticed one cylinder to run richer? My PTO cylinder seems to run richer than the center and mag cylinders.
Hhmmm interesting information. Tested mine last night. 44 lbs key on engine off. Then engine on at idle 44lbs. With throttle input would spike up to 48lbs or so then go back to 44lbs. Mine has always been hard on fuel about 10mpg all the time. I know they say up to 46lbs is in spec. But just...
