Making the move to 4 stroke....

Kinger, buying a complete 05-07 1000sdi motor that is new will cost as much as buying a RX1. And with all that money, it's another 2 stroke with the same reliability questions. To properly rebuild or replace a 1000sdi is expensive, much more so than your average 2 stroke. 545 is the curb...

Making the move to 4 stroke....

Still looking for a RX1. There are a few for under $4200 and some closer to $3k. There is a company that makes a 4 stroke swap kit for the RT chassis Mach Z, but it uses the Doo 12004tec. Would have to source a 1200 4tec engine & obviously make my knuckles bleed for the swap, all that work...

Making the move to 4 stroke....

Hey everyone... I am considering the leap over to 4 stroke & due to costs, the Skidoo 1200 & Cat Z1T are out of question. I started riding 4 years ago on a 97 Mach 1 700 triple, bought a spare 96 Yamaha Vmax 600 XT & have since acquired an 05 Mach Z 1000sdi. I LOVE my 05 Mach Z. It took a...
