The only gear oil I can get in town for my gear case is "GL-5 mineral chain case oil" the phazer manual recommends "GL-3". Can I use the GL-5 gear oil?
I have a set of C&A pros. I believe they are the xt model which are about 8 inches wide. Great in powder and most trail condition but when it gets really hard packed they get a little to aggesive. I'm really happy with them.
It wouldn't hurt to go over all the nuts and bolts on your rear skid and front suspension. I would also check your ski toe in and make sure that its set right. Depending on the amount of miles you have on your current belt you might want to compare it to a new one and maybe start the trip on a...
Hey Jeremy I'm in Hay River. I'm also going to try a 136 by 2 and see how that works, I'll put some pics on when it's finished. Seen the video of you sinking your sled... that couldn't have been very fun, good video's, I never would have thought a phazer would go so good on water.cheers
Hey guys thanks for the info I did manage to find a 136 freeride in very good condition. It was just listed as a 1 1/4 so I was just curious if they had actually made one that size or if the person who had it measured it a little different then they do at the factory. cheers
Canondale in my opinion and my close friend who has raced pro snow x for ten years the rear shock does near all of the work on the rear end of the sled and I back you 100%. cheers
I want to do the same swap but I'm not sure if I should just go with a bigger lug 121. I think you'll have to up grade your skis to take full advantage of the bigger, longer track. keep us posted on the out come of the change. very interested.thanks
I'm looking to upgrade my track but I'm uncertain which size to go with? I guess i'm wondering if the 136 will make the sled less fun in the trails and slow twisty stuff ? and how much top end will I be giving up? thanks.
My phazer idles around 1500 rpm and it revs 7500-800rpm at 40k, I think at 60k it's reving near 10000 and the clutch engages at aprox 4500rpm. So I don't think your phazer is reving high but I'm not sure about the loud exhaust.
