I get what you are saying i remember setting deflection on older cats with washers on the inside of the sheaves. I seen the float that was there when fooling with the aligment bar. Is it beneficial to have a few mm of float or to have it solid?
i was aligning mine with the bar and when i removed the circlip and bolted it down i was bang on. I figured the secondary bolted down against the bearing would be fine but i was advised from a few including hurricane not to do that but to go get the shaft machined as well as the aluminum plug...
i just ordered one for my 19 btx. the sled has 0 miles on it and first thing I noticed was that the center spring was wound all the way and still had all the weight on the skis compared to me old viper rtx le 1.7
so you can see close to 170kph? are you tuned? did you find the stock front end set at the narrow setting to wide for off trail? i have the same sled spring ordered and i was wondering if it will be too wide
thanks
I'm running the gates 8jp right now its supper grapy but it gets a bit hot. I just piked up a new Yamaha 8jp to try too i have always had he best performance out of 8jp belt even if its dirty and don't lat as long but they are only like $110 cad so if i use 2 a year no biggie
