Oil sensor location on an '06 Apex GT

I'm chasing a small/slow oil leak on my 2006 Apex GT and thought I heard something about the little gasket on an oil sensor, screwed into the block below the carbs. I'm not seeing/finding anything here in the forum or general web searching. Does anyone know what i'm talking about and can tell...

    Charging Apex battery

Thank you. I think I saw those. My battery has a bit of juice left in it so I can put an meter on the POS & NEG to confirm, and then I'll connect the trickle chargers. Thanks so much

    Charging Apex battery

Does anyone have a picture of these cables for charging/jumping? I think I found the POS but would love to see a picture of exactly which is which. Definitely don't want to have to lift off the air box to get at the battery itself. Thank you. Jay

    Clutch servicing

Only real challenge for me is: I don't know what may be lacking with the current setup. So if/when I take the performance parts out of the primary I have on my bench and put em' in the one from Barn 'o Parts OR take your stock secondary parts and put on the 'enhanced' on with the Super Torquer...

    Clutch servicing

Ahhhh. Then disregard my comment/question in the other thread. Understood, I’ll try what you said. I’m thinking I can either put the weights/rollers/spring from “upgraded” primary into the stock one, to kind of match the upgraded secondary - and have a Drag Sled setup. Or …detune the secondary...

    Guess that sound?

Thx Steve. When you say that the secondary may not work with primary, do you mean that the secondary may not …act/operate in concert with the primary? That it won’t open and close at the exact rate as the primary does? In one of the videos I recently inserted - after installing the primary...

    Guess that sound?

Well slap my Asa and call me Judy. Ain’t hardly no slack at all out there!!! Used to be I couldn’t make secondary tighten up and make belt sit high. Now she’s a little too good!!! (Thanks SteveO). I’ll adjust secondary tomorrow. Thank you!!!!

    Guess that sound?

    Ahhhhh. I’ll go check deflection.

    Guess that sound?

After finally getting a functioning primary clutch, (thanks Travis at Barn of Parts), and StevewithOCD coming to help me understand everything, I've been pretty psyched to at least buzz around my property, like a regular 06 Apex GT person! Noticed a squeaky whine today that I'm pretty sure is...

    Rear suspension adjustment seems squirrelly

That helped a lot. Thanks Rob. Not sure if it's stated in any of that link, but, I did find 2 extra screws at the bottom of the whole "button assembly" that may not have been mentioned to be able to remove the entire assembly. Come straight up from the bottom. Other than that, pretty much...

    Clutch servicing

Running at speed or sitting at idle? Assuming at idle, and ...I guess so, although the belt seems to sit a little bit low in my humble opinion. I think Steve thought it was ok - just a little below the top/crest of the secondary sheaves. I thought, ideally, the ribs of the belt would stick up...

    Clutch servicing

I didn't end up really touching the secondary - or changing it. When StevewithOCD came up and confirmed my first step was to get a primary clutch that functioned properly, the plan after that was to see how the sled did ...re with the secondary. I haven't gotten out to do any real...

    Clutch servicing

So sorry, I thought I posted it: The primary was the problem. Sticking like crazy when it come to ...squeezing in and grabbing the belt, as well as not ...sliding back out to release the belt.

    Rear suspension adjustment seems squirrelly

Has anyone seen any videos/instructions on taking this apart? I took the 3 screws on the inner coupling out and the plastic cover they held in. I can see the back/side of the switch, but, just leery of how best to get inside to inspect & clean. Thanks for any help. Jay
