Xtx le in southern Ontario there coming

I might have missed it but is this a more snow drag or radar focused build?

Is this staying a trail sled or running pro mod?

How’s that tar comparison going with header and comparing the two?

Also received a call about making sure I put a deposit down on Xtx winder and still wanted to go through with it.

For stock clutches this sled is moving out with 21/41 gears. Some great clutch massaging going on. Be a few sets of clutches sent to thunder products after this post I bet.

The 2 way heat tape works well I’ve found on panels to help prevent melting. I do see wanting to use the factory heat shield tho.

Why are people worried about heat shield? Is it just to hide the fact they have aftermarket muffler?

For xtx depends on year. I believe 2021 was 24/50 as well as new 22

The new xtx runs 24/50 gearing thats correct and seen a few posts 118 is achievable. I myself thought about changing gears but can’t see me gearing out in a drag race as most are 500-660. The 21/41 22/41 be nice for up north highways but they say fuel mileage isn’t effected between the different...

The 1.6 cobra that comes on le model is a 2 ply track. 2.86 pitch. I left a myself had ltx and wanted a more playful ride so I’m going to try the 146. The 1.6 cobra 2 ply is only available I believe through Yamaha, or cat but I could be wrong think they use same thing on riot. But I heard...

Is everyone pretty much staying stock gearing ratio for tuned sleds even 24/50 and heard cats lower now?

That cat dealer is essential up there. He’s saved a few sled trips for us over the years. Supported both Yamaha and cat.
