I also had the same issue on my 2006 attack and traced it to a broken wire (in the harness) near the coolant bottle. There is a bend in the harness that rubs on the frame and broke through. The main power wire was also half worn through and only a matter of time before it broke as well.
The influence of this post and bad/potential supercharger shafts really has me considering doing an mcx turbo and I really did have my heart set on a super. It's really unfortunate to hear of the slow/if any warranty coverage and the timetable that issues are getting resolved. Not to mention...

I would pm rockmeister. He helped me diagnose two broken wires in my wire harness by the coolant reservoir that rubbed through. I lost my lights that through the er-1 code as well. Rock has outstanding patience and customer service.
I felt exactly the same way with two years on my ZX2. I just had hygear revalve the shocks and so far with limited miles its much smoother/softer. This is speeds up to 100 in small to medium bumps. i haven't hit any large moguls yet however I'm much happier now with the ZX2.
You may want to verify that your lower a arms are installed correctly. I've seen them installed upside down and therefore the shock rubs on the upper a arm.
The multicrafter appears to be the perfect tool for the job. I like the cobra tracks design but want it to be more trail friendly with hyfax wear and handling. My attack is going to be my main trail sled and for off trail riding I ordered a ski doo backcountry.
Porting update
I had the head ported and did some minor tuning updates to he clutching and fuel. I tested against a well running apex that i would run neck and neck with last year. This results were much improved as I never lost a race in 660 through a half mile. I would like to get the sled...
