The problem that will come up using your Lithium battery is trying to keep it charged. I connected my ECU directly to an LB and the motor fired perfectly however the battery is not compatible with the vipers charging system and will not charge properly.
I agree with your assessment of the DX model design leaning in the plush direction. With the stock factory DX suspension package the ride will be smother and at low speeds more comfortable. My suspension references were to his current set-up, " I have the RTX-DX model.............129" track."...
My AFR gauge was not reading correctly before heading out on a bagger trip to Canada, I thought it was the sensor. Last day of the trip my exhaust was extremely loud. AFR gauge was reading way to lean and the turbo would hardly gain any boost.
I limped back almost 200 miles without ever...
I'm sure it is not simply the replacement of an exhaust that is causing an issue of concern for Canadian and US law enforcement. If I had to guess I might say it is the higher sound pressure resonating from the replacement, the same rules apply for side by sides and quads. The trails we all love...
Just ride it hard like you stole it. This will point out where you need to put you money with respect to performance and your riding style. Keep up on the routine maintenance. Your Viper if bone stock will out corner your Apex however you might miss that R1 motor. You will love the fact that the...
The 129" and 137" were not designed for a plush ride. The chassis is built and designed to be driven hard, take larger hits requiring a stiffer suspension which may have an uncomfortable feeling for some especially when driven at lower or higher speeds while seated. If you soften up the...
The Pro Cross chassis does require the rider to be active while riding. The front, rear, and center shocks as well as the pre-load need to be loaded and unloaded. The loading location of the suspension will determine how well your sled handles. The ride quality or sometimes referred to as...
Personally I love the performance of the pre-stud tracks. One issue I had was putting them on any machine with a turbo, because pre-stud tracks are only available in single ply they do not hold up. I have had great luck so far with two-ply tracks, after market studs on turbo sleds. All non-turbo...
I understand your need to have after-market products on your sled, I have a whole bunch on my 14 RTX. I have a pipe sitting in my garage that allows my sled to run faster and more efficiently, maximizing the performance of the turbo installed. Unfortunately that increase provided by the pipe...
