Hey. I just noticed a new SR Venture. Has anyone bought or driven one. So is it a Cat Pantera chassis with the Yami engine. Sounds like it to me but just checking.

Does anyone have an extra tall windy to fit an 06 Apex. The one with the support brackets. Prefer western Canada. All I have is stock yami skiis with carbides no loops.

Just an update on the jack shaft bearing. It popped right out except for the bur from the last guy. The threads on the nut were almost totally worn off from riding around on the shaft. all back together. A question. is the secondary suppose to float a bit on the shaft.

This is going to sound crazy, but a buddy of mine who used to own an '06 Apex told me his dealer told him to block the exhaust with his hand. This gives the engine back pressure which helps it to start. haven't had to try it yet though.

My RS Venture won't start either after sitting in the summer. I try to start it once a month but if I forget, I just do the rag in the gas tank trick and blow in the tank while cranking. Seems to work. I hope my recently aquired 06 Apex isn't like that. The electric pump for the FI should...

I just looked at the fiche again and I think the nut was put on backwards.

Can you get the nut and sleeve out without taking the shaft out.

I ordered a new shock today. I'll give it a try. Hopefully I can sell it and upgrade to a 4 stroke. the early RX's are going for $2500 to $3500 Can. now.

you are right. The regular Venture is different than the GT. I have a '10 Venture and it doesn't have the clicker shocks.
