Hey RX-Eskimo, I visit your town a couple times back in 98 or 99. I traveled there with my work. I stayed at the co-op at the time. The ladies really knew how to cook up hearty meals! Beautiful country up there.

Got 1300km on my first set of hyfax. They were shot!

All I know is that the stock RX-1 seat sits very close to the seat jack when installed. The seat jack is almost resting on the rear of the stock seat. I guess you should compare the stock and Boss seat side by side.

I just finished replacing my hyfax. They were almost worn through at the bend in the rails. This is with 1300km of riding in decent snow conditions with the correct track tension! I think this IS a problem. I would get about 4x that mileage with my Cat before changing them.

Is there a tow hitch available for the RX-1?

I'm thinking about adding mirrors to my RX-1 this season. Anybody know the Yamaha part numbers for the various mirrors available to fit the RX-1? I know there is a "touring kit" that can be purchased that includes mirrors as well. I cannot find the part numbers on their website for any...
