Just wondering if anyone knows why the ski styles have changed from 2006 to 2011. I have a 2006 Apex with original skis and a set of 2011 Apex skis. Just wondering if anyone has ever see a difference between these two. Thanks

You may want to get snow trackers as they tend to dart a bit on the trail. Unless you have them already!

If it's possible would probably go with totally electric gauge to iliminate possibility of oil line being rubbed through. If I can find an oil gallery on the engine I will try it out.

I feel your pain buddy mine is using more oil then gas and that sucks. I couldn't sell it to anybody as well in this condition.

I'm in Rockland and believe our Yamaha Dealer in Orleans has ring free. I though Canadain Tire sold Sea foam but will have to check.

I agree I'm in Canada too in Ontario perhaps I will speak to my Yamaha dealer and see what he says.

There there are some people in Quebec that have 42,000 kms on their sleds. Mine has 16,000kms on it and still going strong although it uses oil.

I have the same sled and I went 65kms today and it was just below the F when I left and at the E when I came back. Makes me nervous too. I never let the light come one though! I don't really trust idiot lights I figure once the light comes on it might be too late.
