I have a 2015 it has a dipstick. To check: warm up until the fan kicks on, then as yamaha says check with dipstick screwed in within 30 seconds after shut off.

I have a 2015 MTX 153. This is what I did- full set up from Excell motorsports- intake ,exhaust, clutching, 1.75 backcountry track 21/41 gearing= 93mph and it works great.

I recently purchased a leftover 2015 MTX and my question is can you put a higher windshield on or not with the fixed steering post and have no problems with hitting the handlebars? All info appreciated.
