My transfer rod is busted on my 07 apex. The threads don't look like they stripped out. Also, the rod itself on the inside is bent. Has anyone ever had one come loose and unscrew itself? Just trying to figure out what happened and avoid future issues. I didn't pound it hard through any rough...
Anybody running stud boy pro series backers? I just bought some after talking to the guys from stud boy at the novi show. These things look gnarly! I know they have been out for awhile. Any input?
I have been thinking about doing the same. Studs in a double are more fixed and flex less theoretically harder to pull out. 144 is hard to do symmetrically in all doubles.
I took a little bit of construction adhesive to hold the new foam block in place on the base of the seat so it wouldn't be an issue. I have a BOSS seat on my viper and this seems similar now in firmness and height.
I have it installed. I'll get some pics. Seems like it might be a little narrower at the front so it follows the contour of the tank. Fits nicely. Like factory. I'll get some pics up.
