i have forgotten who i had bought the copper exhaust dounuts and waste gate spring from last season? Are they still avaliable?? and how much?

i believe a 270 kit should be at 15 psi. 22 psi anywhere from 3/4 to WOT, and its there as long as you hold it. the RPM was strangley around 89-90, and correct me if im wrong but the rev limit should be 92? and yes i could hear it hitting the rev limiter

ok but nothing was done to the waste gate? unless the linkage got bent to went out of adjustment right? and it was running fine till it started to see 22 psi then she failed, is this because of to much heat or the fact it was over reving cuz of the excess power gain? thanks Tim

ok so i have disassembled the top end and have found that one exhaust valve has kissed the piston... there isnt any signs of damage to the piston, should i worry about changing it? and for the valves should i change the valves for all three cylinders or just one cylinder or just the one...

hey guys, im doing some work on a mcx 270 nytro and it has a mountain mod seat on it. now is there a special shield that u can get that separates the turbo from the inside of the seat? and where can i get one? Tim

if u dont have the roll over valve, such as myself, always roll it to the right side if u need to do any work to the machine, but the roll over valve is a good idea especially if u do any mountain or deep snow riding where it is easy to tip it upside down, and not easy to get it back on its skis...

You do have it right about the engines for sure! The touque is smooth and the reponse is un beatable! Hold er to the bar for as long as u can handle! I have ridden an mtx for 3 years with minor mods to it and the only bad things I can say about it is it doesn't like to be upside down for any...

So I have a question to ask, how difficult is it the remove the engine out of an apex with a bondocker side mount turbo? I have removed the engine on my nytro several times and its not all that bad, does the front suspension and bulk head removed in one piece like the nytro?? Any suggestions?

Ya i thought that was the BOV on the front of the plenum? cuz i just ordered the softer spring from thistle to try that out.

I have tried a 45 and it did make a big difference, i was just seeing if there was any other combinations that people have tried, i did read a bit about the BOV but i wasnt sure if i needed it or not? does it make a difference and how do i go about getting these parts? thanks for the reply!

So i have a 2008 nytro mtx with a 156 2 1\2 track and just recently installed a mcx 180 kit. I am very happy with the power but it is hitting the rev limiter alot with the clutching that i had suggested that i should use. i would like to find a good clutch setup, all i know is i have 8BU weights...
