Was wondering for the Vector and Apex models.

2007 Mnt Vector. Just wondering if a dual cut helix with a shallower back angle and a lower spring wind on the secondary would reduce the engine braking effect? I did a search on this and find clutch kits but not much on the specifics.

I guess I should have mentioned I have a mountain Vector. Yours was probably 43 degree stock, the mountain is 39. Looks like you increased a little on the front and dropped about 9 degrees on the back of the helix.

I find 2 Yamaha part numbers for replacement hyfax on a 2007 Mountain Vector, 8FK-47421-00-00 and the other 8FS-47421-00-00. The sled is stock with 151" track. Does anyone know what the difference is between these and which, if not either, would work on the sled? Thanks.

My VX800 front end handles rough and bumps better than the several trailing arm suspensions I have and had and as well as the A arms of my late model sleds.
