I got 96-98 on the speedo, and a bombi FIII beside me was sitting at around 87.

If it will flow enough for a 750, the Phazer will be fine with it.

@ 550 it better be a full system with a tuned header, if it isn't they won't sell very many...

Instead of getting a 2" riser, one could install some alum, handle bars with maybe a CR-high bend in them... That would bring up the bars quite a bit, seeing as stock bars have almost no upward bend in them. That's what I wanted to try, would be lighter and clean looking. Only thing is...

8 MPG and it hit 98 on the dreameter today on the lake, about 1/2" of slush over ice. just above freezing temps. Buddy beside me clocked me at 86-87 on an FIII Should I look for a fuel leak? I was driving the thing like a light switch though...

I think I am doing it alright soo far, doubt it will last 300 miles, also, what do they mean in terms of time by "prolonged"? 5, 10, 20, 30 seconds? or?

i'd liek to hear more. Looks like a reluctor wheel there, if one was to remove a tooth or 2, the speed would be acurate, and your sled would have "less" mileage for re-sale. hehe.

BRP 800 twin would move the phazer quite well...

I think I got 69 out of mine. 6" of powder, and I didn't hold it for too too long, only has 12 miles. It really creeps after 70MPH...

I just put 10 miles on mine, and they have more than a fan cooled phazer. Bottom end can't compare. I didn't hold it wide open at all, but it gets to 65 pretty fast. kinda creeps after that. 7-8" of fresh light snow, so, no traction at all, sled still stands up and goes. It MAY do...

I thought once the red light was off, you were good to go. better check mah manual again...

I say block the hole.... YZFR6.... no snow cooled exhaust (duh) R1 ... same YZ250F keep in mind 3-5" off the head pipe GLOWS red on these... again no snow. 450F... same. pattern developing here? I think so. I always thought the HOTTER you got the exhaust, better it would flow...

I want to run a Supertrapp on mine sooo badly. You can tune it easily, I will see what I can come up with.

Did you chop the stock one off, and just clamp that on there? Is that 2.25" or 2.5" muffler? Get pics with the seat off.

Anyone make something to fit the non-shielded sleds, complete with mounting braket, and all that junk? Looking for something low, maybe a tad lower than the FX shield, in black of course. I don't even want to get a price from Yamaha cause I know it will be crazy. :Rockon:

Is the Phazer engine 449cm3 or 499cm3...? My Yamaha owners manual says 449cm3, and the sales brochure indicates 499.
