I may be overreacting but hot damn these prices are increasing at an exponential rate compared to my income! It makes you wonder what the price is going to be when they actually come out with a totally NEW model sled!

Yea....you have to cut them out from the paper they are printed on which takes a little time and patience if the stickers have a lot of contours to them. The actual install was not too bad(Im a first timer at doing any kind of this). Just make sure you get the application/cleaning fluid kit...

I have roughly 3600 miles on my RTX proactive skid....I have no complaints regarding durability on it. Im thinking of getting the shocks revalved for next season as their just not up to par as far as shock rebound, etc. Who should I go with? Ive heard Pioneer and Hygear. I ride really agressive...

About 3/4 of the way through our trip I changed out my belt which is the original and had about 3300 miles on it. Noticed an increase in mph up to 118 where I had been at 114 on the speedo earlier in the trip with the old belt. I also have 144 studs down the middle and last year I did not so...

I noticed on my last trip I started off ratcheting real bad so I tightened the track up a lot. I think I might be too tight now because last year I could run(in perfect conditions) up to 125mph on long runs on the speedo. This past trip I went on had a lot of long high speed runs on lakes, etc...

Well....I had a few of my stock bogey wheel bearings seize up on me so I said might as well get the slydog bogies if I already got the skis. Install on the slydog bogies is a pain in the arse because the outside spacers need to be machined down because the bearings in the slydog wheels are wider...

Im also curious as to when this was updated. Im 20 days out my warranty so we will see what I can work out with my dealer. I should have checked it I guess on a more regular basis but cmon shouldnt be having this crap leak on me on a sled thats only been ridden for a season.

Thanks for the advice LB....I will check out all bearings and seals. Ive never had this problem in the past so dont know much about the causes of the chain failure.lm sure the loss of gear oil had something to do with it, but would anything else cause a chain to fail? I know this is a longshot...

Sorry bad lighting in the garage at night......post some pics in the snow next time I get out. Also, still have to get the studs on and some graphics on the front hood. Let me know what you think. Also paint on hood is tough to see in lighting but it is a black with the flake in it.
