I asked my dealer for the 07 harness and he said he couldn't find the part? Anyone know where I can order it online? Any help greatly appreciated, and if someonelse has already asked this question I appologize in advance don't have much time to come on here and do research.
Yes I let it warm up until the red light went out saying it was up to operating temperature, but it only took about 3 minutes to reach that temp because it was in my garage, should I let it warm up longer?
I am going riding tomorrow and won't be able to buy any motor oil before I go. The oil is on the bottom line of the stick which is basically how I read it at the add mark. Will it be safe to ride tomorrow or should I try to find some before I head out, which probably won't be yamaha oil.
Not bashing the setup one bit machzed I want to do the handwarmers but my dealer said no more 07 bars will be coming in and I don't want to go pulling wires out and soldering #*$&@ that I have no idea what the hell I am doing. I have some mechanical skills but going into wiring kind of scares...
I went to dealer today to order harness with the part number listed on page 3 of this thread and he said there is no such part number on the yamaha part list???? Anybody have any new part numbers or some other explaination? I also just read that a guy had a problem with his shock on his apex gt...
Just curious looking at the pictures it looks like your grip on the throttle side is all bubbled out from the foam expanding where it was coming out by the wire. Is it the picture or did the grip get messed up, and also is there any wires inside you would have to worry about getting messed up...
I am wondering who has their setup perfect for trail riding, keeping the ski's on the ground in the corners while still being able to get a great hole shot on the lakes. The more detailed the better as far as how you have them setup. I was not impressed last season with the handling of my sled...
So what do you have done to your sled, you just told us how fast it goes but give us the inside scoop on what you did and how much it cost? Also how many miles on the sled with this setup, is it as reliable as stock? Thanks in advance.
Welterracer I don't care about top end say from 105mph on, I just want to be able to beat all 3 of my buddies mach z's from 0-100 and just as importantly from say 40mph - 100mph (trail riding) What would you suggest me to do that will be just as reliable as stock and not cost me a fortune?
If the sled is geared for 140mph then how come nobody ever talks about going 140mph even on the dream meter I only hear 130-135. I would be very happy if this was true because then gearing down would be very advantageous but I can't see how it is. Not trying to start a fight, I own an apex gt...
I have made a couple of adjustments this summer and have yet to obviously try them, but I did put the front shocks to I think you would say max transfer (there is now 5" from the end of the shock to the mounting point, there used to be only 4") I also adjusted the rear shock rebound dampining...
I have read all about the rear suspension and how to set it up but nobody has talked about the front suspension, and I have got a ton of ski lift and darting. The darting will be corrected hopefully by a new set of pilot ski's, but I don't know a cure for the awful ski lift. Can anybody help...
last time I checked the reason you let off the throttle is to slow down? is it not, so the four stroke motor is a huge advantage. If you don't like it stay on the gas!! :4STroke:
I have the apex gt and my guards hit the windshield just a little bit when fully turned. I wasn't talking about the mirrors hitting the windshield I was referring to the handguards hitting your forearm when you are up close and turning tight at slow speeds, plus they restrict you from taking...
