I am looking to take the floats off of my 08 RTX, but I'm wondering what to replace them with. I would prefer a pair of FX shocks, or some 08 or 09 GT shocks, but would I be happy with 07 GT shocks, or ever 08 GT's? I like the bumb absorbsion of the floats, but I'm not jumping 20 ft jumps. The...

I'm trying to get rid of my 08 RTX. I've gotten a dozen trade offers and a few intresest at 4800, but the best luck is the dealer giving me 4200.

That reminds me, if you get an 08 or 07, you might want to close off the tunnel, helps alot.

I like my rtx for basically everything it gives. There are some little things that I would like to be different, like the difficulty to access the motor ect., and a little more power would be cool. And if you get the rtx, then I would run the suspension kinda soft just to keep it handling well...

In 2007 I tried a Phazer GT, then bought an 08 RTX. The GT is geared for higher top-end, so it doesn't pull out of the corner as well as the RTX. I came from an 00 sxr 600 and the RTX still pulls great, but I can't get much over 85.

While at my dealer last year, he had a Venture Lite in there changing the plugs, a process in which they had to take half the sled apart because the plugs are near the gas tank, facing backwards. He told me that they foul out if you pump the throttle to much before the red engine light turns off...
