I have the back rack on mine, its 275 Cdn dollars...You can order them from the Yamaha website...The front portion sits on a hinge system that allows full access to your trunk...Its a very solid rack, should be able to carry a heavy load if need be. I think its 34kgms or approx. 70 lbs.

I have a set of aggressive snotrackers I removed my RX1 that I'm putting on before my first ride...Snotrackers are well worth the cost, they completely eliminate darting period!

Thanks, I love the black and gold too...The rack sells for 275 + tax Cdn and has a built in tilt so you can access your rear trunk with ease...I love the way it fits and its very sturdy. We have about an inch of snow here...Can't wait!...LOL

I sat on the Blue one they had in their show room today and all I can say I wow, it was gorgeous to say the least...I won't sleep now until I get mine in the garage!...LOL I'll post a pic when I pick her up this week.

I agree, there are good deals to be had, but sadly when you live a million miles from the big city there's a lot to consider...I try and support my local dealer but I have to admit if I weren't 3 to 5 hrs away from civilization chances are I could have got the same sled for 12 grand or less...

Sounds about right...I just traded my 05 RX1 on a brand new black 2013 Venture GT, got for 12,700.00 Cdn before my trade... Had a pair of Yamaha ski pants and a new belt thrown in...I had to pay extra for the hitch and rear rack...Can't wait to try it!

Thanks for the real world info guys, Im only 150lbs soaking wet so the XTX may not be for me unless theres an ultra-soft setting...lol Maybe I'll stick to my original plan and go with the RS Venture GT with EPS as everyone says the ride quality is excellent.
