I agree sounds like a coil, my Venture MP is doing the same thing only happens when warm starts up great first 5- 10 minutes driving ok then a misfire have it narrowed down to a ignition coil waiting on parts to confirm.

Venture lite, What year is your Venture? And I think the recall is for a ground that can get burned and if it is the dealer replaces the harness, and ground block.
