I agree that a seat is for sitting on, it kinda goes without saying. I have also found that the seat can get annoying after sitting down for a long time. However the times that I sit down for long periods are few and far between. I have found this seat to be excellent for mobility when sitting...
Could you or yel_low post up the part numbers/specs on these ohlins shocks? Also, did you do anything else to the stock suspension ie stiffer torsion spring etc? thanks :yam:

Perhaps I'm just dumb here but I installed the fourth wheel kit today and I want to know how you guys are doing 2 inner wheels?? I saw no way to do it without a lathe to shorten the shaft. Mind you I did not want to just have bare shaft sticking out on both sides or do a hack job of some sort.
I don't think that there is room for a 15". There may be room for 14.5" or so but most guys cut down there tracks to 14"-14.25" however I'm not really an expert. I would put on a camo extreme or some thing like that instead of another shitty maverick. just my .02
?????WTF $20 for a piece of aluminum to cover the hole. I paid 30 cents for mine. I just went to the hardware store and bought 3 feet of aluminum flashing. I had to cut it myself but you can cut it easily with just an exacto or olfa knife.
Glad to here you like it. It's the most fun sled I've had. Check out this thread for th answers to your handwarmer issues http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=51129 :yam:
I have no problem getting the skis a foot or so off the ground on hard pack. In the powder its obviously not a summit 800 but i can keep the skis up on top of the snow no problem. It does plow a bit when you are slowing down but thats to be expected. I weigh about 210 with gear on.

The panels don't strengthen the subframe. They are just plastic that bolts to the tunnel but doesn't attach in any way to the subframe. However when you side panels are installed, they will also install a small brace which does strengthen the subframe a bit. however it is retardedly heavy. :o|

I had the 08 shrouds on(I have a 08 mtx) and the suck. You still get lots of ice built up under the seat. Just save yourself the time and hassel and close the tunnel off solid. no ice built up and it doesn't get too hot at all.
