It's not hard to do. All you need is a little mechanical ablity. A few things to bolt on, a few things to wire. The hardest part is routing the wires. Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine.
I agree with IowaGrizz. I think you could do better on the price of a 660 though. I have seen brand new 660 left overs advertised for $5000. I don't know if they screw you with the freight and set up b.s. though. I never looked into it that far. Good luck with your decision let us know what...
Looks like a good back up in case your winch fails. You know, I have one of those and never thought to put it in my box. I might have to start carrying it.
I put it in every tank when I fill up the grizz. Unless I'm riding for a weekend or something. Then I just put it in when I get home and run the motor for a while to get it in the carb.
Have you googled it? Maybe you can order it on the internet. I've never checked myself but it might be...
It's just a gas/oil additive. It can be used in all gas engines.
I use it in everything I own. I mix 1 ounce per gallon of gas for storage purposes. Stronger if I want to clean the carb/engine/injectors. They use this stuff at 100% concentration in fuel injector cleaner machines. It can...
I buy it at Farm Fleet in Wisconsin. Not sure if they are in Ohio. I know Carquest sells it too. Check out a auto parts store in your area. It's good stuff I swear by it.
I used to use Stabil but I have switched to Seafoam. Seafoam stabilizes, takes water out and cleans your carb and internal motor parts. I'm really sold on the stuff. Read the can and see all the things it does, great product IMO.
A good friend of mine delivers gas to stations. He has told my that gas will start losing it's octane within 2 weeks. I didn't mean anything by "todays gas". But imo it does break down faster than it used to.
I would say it's not your Grizz. It's the gas going bad. Todays gas starts getting bad with in a few weeks of sitting. I always put a gas stabilizer in anything that will sit for more than 2 weeks.
I think that's a hell of a deal. Remember the offset on those wheels are different than stock. They will stick out further from your fenders. You may need a set of overfenders if you don't like getting dirty.
You may want to get the revised clips from Yamaha too. I guess some of the Grizzlies had bad clips and the axle would pop out while driving. Since you have it apart I would put them in. I haven't had mine apart but I guess there's a circlip that holds the axle in. Good luck ;)!
Tires....... I've had my Grizz for a year now and I still can't figure out what tires to buy..... Haven't had the $$ to buy them but I've spent a lot of time researching them.
Good luck ;)!
