What size hole did you drill?
QUOTE="Switch07, post: 1172448, member: 23030"]I installed the Crosstour mid with mirrors today on my LTX DX. Was not too hard of an install after all. Looks good.

I think it would be valuable for those of us with coil over (non-fox front shocks) to know how front ski suspensions are coming setup from the dealer and what changes have been made to improve handling.
My 2014 LTX had 2" of shock threads showing as delivers from dealer. I switched to deuce...
Please post your Viper model and whether the spindle is against the inside or outside of your ski ( and your ski stance - 42" or 43") Seems that the sleds are being assembled both ways and wanted to do a pole as to which location you have on your Viper.
I have the next larger rear springs (1704-560/561) on the lightest setting. Other settings for center shock and rear shock are stock (as far as I know). Wondering if I have too much weight on the front skis and with the more aggressive Curves the skis are finding every rut and tracking them and...
How do you have you rear suspension and fox floats set? Ski toe? Your experience is what I expected with the curves. Did you try them without the leading edge?
Toe is about 7/16" out when measuring from two center line points on the skis so in the range of where it should be. Measured threads on front ski shocks have 2 1/16 threads showing. Very fast rebound when I puch down on back of sled. Sounds like I need to play with ski pressure but wondering...
Thanks for your thoughts. I have the correct mounting kit for the viper for the curves. I will have track and and ski alignment checked with the correct toe out. My front shocks are fairly soft and maybe I need to compensate for the stiffer rear spring setting.
I seem to have a fair amount of...
Took a set of curve skis from my old Apex with new 6" round bars and put them on my 14 Viper LTX base. I was running the stock skis with 6" deuce bars which worked great with zero darting but had some push in corners in fresh groomed snow. My suspension settings are stock other than I went to...
I also had Curves with 7.5" shaper bars on my Apex LTX and they were great.. Curve recommended 6" round bars for my 14 Viper LTX. Just put skis on replacing the stock skis with 6" deuce bars that I ran last winter. No darting with the deuce bars on stock skis but a fair amount of push in soft...
My brakes now have an intermittent squeal when I have been using them in the woods with fairly constant braking around corners. Not issues when used infrequently in the fields. Any suggestions?
I really like how the back end handles not and don't want to change that. Plan to try tightening front suspension springs by 1/4" to see how much that will increase ski pressure.
Upon closer inspection there looks to have been one there at some point. Had to loosen torx screw on bottom of bracket to align new screw on top. Screw on top went in loose so I wonder is the hole was drilled too large to start.
The top of this bracket is not secured and moves slightly when I stick my size 14 boot in the space. Looks like there are two holes on the top of the bracket where bolts could go.
