I found that the best way is to run lines back th the battery and fuse it there. This way you have no issues with blowing fuses that controll other things on the sled.
I have a ohlin warrior rear shock that I would sell for $300 BO. I have the whole skid for $500 BO if you want spare parts. It is in great shape and has the pioneer performance optional spring and the stock spring with it.
Alot have done this and it sounds like it is not that bad. I think the hardest part is trimming up the gas tank cover to fit the new seat. Look under FAQ in 4-stroke forum, Kinger has a good post on this.
