Well, in these parts, (NorthEast) most gasoline companies are required to oxygenate their fuels from November to April to help reduce emissions. MJB

Depends how the carbs are jetted. Since the assumed conditions would be below freezing for the snowmobile, you would most likely get worse mileage in the summer (warmer) conditions than in the colder since the mixture would be slightly rich. The heated carbs may be there for a reason to...

My SX has a 'switch' to heat the carbs. I only used it once or twice when it was -30 and when it was snowing REAL hard one time. But I don't see any mention of the heated carbs in the manual? Someone else said they are electric heated, and on all the time? Is there a secret carb switch...

I spoke with someone with a 2003 RX1 in black. He said the black ones were not available with reverse. Is this true? Any reason for that?? Can reverse be added to the black sled, or did it have other options that did not allow the use of rev. Thanks, MJB
