    Yep, 8500 is it, but an improvement over the 8000 and sluggish bottom end I had yesterday! I'll get her back to health... one thing at a time.

    Just an update if somebody else is searching and finds this thread... Cleaned my primary clutches - tons of belt dust although rollers were free. Checked the coils for arcing and found No. 4 pretty bad but couldn't see arcing on the other three cylinders. The result: Got all the power back...

    I guess the good thing is you found the problem... too bad on the secondary. What's wrong with it? And thanks for the advice fellas. Going out to clean the primary and take her for a spin... btw, love having this snow on the ground in Ohio. Makes for test and tune a lot easier than waiting...

    Hey Brutus... I'm having a similiar issue on my RX1 since getting her out for the year. On my sled, it only hits 8000rpm and generally feels low on power getting there. Only thing I've done for the year is add 96 megabites and run some Seafoam thru the tank. Does yours also have the low...

    The op gutted his exhaust and was pleased with the noise. Having a cabin on one of the main trails in Cadillac, I agree with the others in this thread. Loud pipes, WOT accelerations, and 12am doesn't sit too well with myself and most of the neighbors. Keep 'em quiet and we'll all enjoy...
