I could not get my '05 Vector to fire up after I had summerized by using the 'drain every ounce of gas that you can' method. I swear there is more than 10% ethanol in the blend in Minnesota and it goes bad before the phase of the moon changes.
So, I tried the old rag in the gas filler and try...
I am looking to put a power outlet on my Vector to run my GPS.
I see that the part numbers are nearly the same for outlet from a Grizzly - 5GH-8254B-00-00
and for the Vector 8ET-8254B-00-00.
What are the chances that this is really the same part? and with the same plug?
Thanks for your...
Thank you everyone for your input. The yeas have it. I did the deed and traded two VMax 2-strokes, along with some cash for the Vector. The upgrade is nothing but awsome. I just hope we get a few more inches of snow, so I can take it out for a good ride.
Ride safe and tread lightly.
This is one of those 'light went on' thoughts that occured to me as I read though one of the other posts about carb synching. I will ask them when I get a chance, but I am wondering if it is standard procedure, or do you need to specifically ask for it to be done, and consequently pay extra.

Hey, Rob.. as far as taking the groomer out.. I remember what you did to the first Tucker.. HA!
I picked up my Vector this morning.. How soon before you convince me to put your old slide under it?
(meanwhile.. give a guy a title and look what he does with it..)
All kidding aside...
:hide: Sorry, my mistake, it is only a Vector ER, not GT. Thank you for the correction.
Are there any other mechanical or electrical reasons that this sled should be avoided?
I am still thinking that the dealer will come down, plus if he will take my older machines on trade, then I don't...
The dealer is asking over $5K. I see that the average "Black Book" retail is $4500, but this sled only has 1300 miles. I am thinking that if he will come down a few hundred that it is in the ballpark.
Any thoughts?
Hi, I am a newbie, so bear with me on this one. Is there any reason why I should not trade in my 98 VMAX for an 05 Vector ER GT with 1300 miles? I only ride trails and I don't go fast unless I have good visibility on a lake or long field.
Your help is appreciated. Thank you
