Lost the old 06 Apex on my current loop here in Timmins ON. Broke the jackshaft and blew up the chain case. Made a great deal for her on an 2018 Sidewinder LTX DX. Have 700 miles on her and will be going home in a couple of days. What do I need to watch for and or do to this new machine...

Frank from Shoctec rebuilt and re-valved my shock. He did a great job and really knows his stuff. I would check him out.

Any risk in the bolts breaking?

I don’t want to undo the bolts on the engine on the other side of the flex lines.

I am doing my exhaust donuts and everything has been a breeze except when it came down to separating my Y-pipes from the muffler. I have undone the muffler bolts and the clamps on the Y-pipes to the muffler but the two do not want to separate. Any tricks of the trade?

Has anyone shampooed there engine? If so what did you use and what do I need to cover up and or avoid while doing so. Any tips would be great.

I haven't done much yet. New ice ripper track with 144 stud boys, all new idlers, new sliders and new drive Shaft bearings. I was hoping someone in Hamilton did good work on rebuilding shocks (a little closer for me). Also need to upgrade the hand warmers, they hardly work at al even on full...

I change my oil once a year and while it is apart I do all my off season maintenance. No big deal listen to tunes have a couple brown pops and before you know it your done!! Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
