Cracked Arm NOT covered under Y.E.S. Warranty?

In the automotive world it's nothing on the parts and 50% on book time. May be close to the same with bikes and sleds.

If I owned one I would drill and cotter key it. Taking good photos showing the parts were good. Then if the spindle wallows out, no excuses. It's an under built part unable to withstand the loads. I agree about the lawyers, only used one twice in my entire life. But they frown on...

    Trailer cover experienced opinions

Those Missions swaying is due to load weight in relation to the tongue weight. Generally the axles are centered 40% forward from the rear of the box, 60% from the front of the box. With a v nose I have seen them set from the nose of the v and from the square part of the deck. Not sure which...

Say what you will, wheels falling off a front end on a 90 mph vehicle can kill people. Yamaha would never even let it get to court. They would settle for big bucks out of court to keep it quiet if some one had gotten hurt or killed. Bolts don't just loosen up. The metal is weak and...

Attak will not start & codes?

Yes, I got it straight now. The 2005 on back uses a cdi, and has no item called a crank position sensor, just the Pick up coil for the cdi. Not saying I understand the renaming of it by yamaha. The computer in the newer bikes must a true ecm like in a car and the older ones were not? In...

They are using the same gray/blk wires and the same location for seemingly two different parts?

Attak will not start & codes?

I may have posted the specs wrong somehow. Looking at the Apex Attak specs 2006-2010 189-231 ohms. for the pickup coil These PDF manuals are not real clear as to which manual they take you to when you type in a search. I can only say for sure this time it says Apex Attak RTX 2006-2010.pdf...

File a small claims action against them. Usually just 2 pieces of paper to fill out. The other thing that works in Mt. and may work where you're at is the insurance commissioners office. They may legally deem a separately paid for warranty as insurance. I get pissed when someone steals...

Anyone ever had this bolt come loose?

Harmonics can loosen anything that is not safety wired. I have been using the highest strength green bearing and stud mount on anything 1/4" and up for 25 years. It comes off just fine. Don't believe all the hype loctite puts out.

Does Yamaha (or any Manufacturer of Vehicles) make their tech. bulletins widely accesible to the second hand buyers? Not that I have seen. If you read on these forums you can glean all the info. I just bought a sled that the owner swore was just updated by his dealer. It didn't show at my...
