    Chain Case

Last ride of the season, I had a small rock get knocked loose by the skis and roll up under the belly pan. Seemed kind of minor at the time until the chaincase bearings locked up. Finally got around to checking it out this weekend and it seems I'm in need of a new chaincase. The cover is...

Would you buy your 05 Rs again

Too many problems with the proactive skid frame It's back at the shop again with a broken front pivot arm for the second time. Rails have been replaced three times and basucally the ride is not up to the other manufacturers skids.

    11,000 + miles on a Vector

Eh??? Waht was that?? seriously, I haven't found the infamous track howl to be a problem with this sled. Once in a while on really icy trails if the hyfax is worn down low but otherwise it's no problem.. As far as an M10 being cheaper, it would have been done a while ago except Yamaha's...

    Yamaha Suspensions

Just don't feel I should have to put out the extra dollars after buying the sled. Usually only keep them 2 or 3 years and trade them off. Anyone put the miles on the Xpert X and have it hold together? I can deal with the ride on this suspension, although it has some room for improvement...

    Yamaha Suspensions

What's with yamaha's suspensions anyways. My 2005 vectors at the shop waiting for it's 3rd set of rails and assorted other parts. I realize I put a lot of miles on, 11,000 as to date, but I've had Polaris and SkiDoo suspensions hold up to more. I love the motor in the Vector, but suspension...

    Swaybar mount fragile!

Just dropped mine in this morning for the same problem. Not even sure what I hit but it's broken loose. Waiting to get a quote from the dealer as to how to fix this. This does seem to be a poor design though as they are awfully exposed and apparently break rather easily. Does anyone have a...
