Great review man, I have a 2009 Apex LTX and I had a 2006 Attak. I rode the new 2011 Yamaha's and thought they were very nice machines but I noticed that the seat made you slide towards the front of the tank when I rode hard through the bumps. The rear of the seat is nice for smooth Canada...
Wow srxspec you answered that quick, thanks for the fast response.
But will the nice Excell single pipe like they have in the pic on their web site, work on a Vector. Looks like ones they make for a Apex n FX Nytro.
Its shows it in a pic but not listed as an item to buy for the Vectors...
Hey srxspec, can you put a Excell Single Pipe with the high flow header on these 2010-11 Vector 120FI motors??
On the Excell site under Vector/Rage/Nytro it looks they have a Excell Single Pipe with the high flow header on a 2005 Vector 120 Carb motor.
I hope so because I'm ordering two...
If I bought a new sled I think I would try a Doo 1200 X Gade...Plus you can find a lot of left over 2009 and 2010 for a great deal. New Yamaha Apex's are just to much for me to spend.
If i bought a new 2011 Apex it would just stay parked in the garage and I wouldn't be able to ride it...
I think drifter has a good point, but you have to remember not everyone can afford $15,000 or even 10,000 for a sled. Yes every company is out to make money but I'll tell ya what I was going to buy a new Yamaha for my Father in 2011, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. I can afford it and our family loves...
Hits from the bong...the Japanese have to have some really good #*$&@ on that Island hahahaha
I was going to buy my Father a New Yamaha this year....it looks like he will be on nice left over or used one. Everyone that I talked to about it, even our dealer is not buying a 2011 Yamaha.
Looks...
Just wondering if anyone is making or planning on making a SC or Turbo for the new fuel injected 2010 Vector's??
This would make a great sleeper sled, plus I would think you could put on Excell's header pipe too if you you went with a MPI SC.
I could remember when some guys had trouble with the ice building up on, around and in the tunnel. Is this a big problem and if it is can it be fixed?? Thanks again
Thinking of buying a 2010 XTX but I was wondering what products are out there for storage. I saw at one of the shows this past Spring that you could put a angled exhaust flange on and then make room at the back for a bag or waterproof box.
Im going to put the bigger gas tank on and will have...
So if I was to buy a new 2010 Yamaha(Apex LTX GT in Black) does the 4 year warranty you get with the spring purchase mean you have the factory 1 year and 4 more? Totaling 5 years of warranty.
Not brain surgery, but when your in the backwoods and all of a sudden the sled fouls a plug then what? I owned a 06 Attak and it had 12,000 miles on it, fouled 3 plugs all different cylinders. Now I own a 08 Apex LTX 40th and have not had a problem in 3,500 miles. It could happen and when it...
I have a 07 RTX and going to stretch it to 144. I really like the Expert X and was wondering if anyone had some feedback from one.
Ive rode M10's in the past and love them but I heard and researched a lot about this Expert X.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
My father and I just finished putting his 136 M-10 in his 05 Warrior. We also put Ohlins on the front. I'll try and post some pics ASAP. After sitting on the sled and taking it for a ride(I put 35 miles on yesterday in Clarence, NY. Local boy trails only main trails are not open yet.) I would...
My father has the warrior and I have the Attak. He likes the traditional sitting position of the warrior and he is 57 years old. I have ridden both machines, I'm 29 and weight in at 275 and love the Attak. There is no comparison for me when it comes to which machine I would rather ride. But...
