Are you sure? Weber motors hasn't been around for awhile, I thought they went bankrupt and were purchased by private equity around the start of covid, maybe it was a different part of weber.. The motor in the link above is an older design, pre 2010 and released in 2015. oceomarine is just a...
The oem ones are a nylon reinforced plastic, the cheap knockoffs are just plastic. When you take them apart, the difference is obvious.
The following is an example just based on the fact that they claim they are nylon, they are not the ones to buy if you are swapping out rivets...
If the noise is coming from the interference fit of the splines, I would be concerned about aeration of any oil moving through there. For the price of the noise reduction ring I think a PB80 might be a good choice for a lot of guys running stock to moderately tuned sleds.
No snow trackers on SRX, I find the front end to be pretty good already. The apex had a lot bigger problem with the tuner skis, trackers on it were almost mandatory. On the SRX I find the front end has a bit of predictable push which I was going to work on this year but not enough snow or...
Yes. The torsion springs are holding up the back, removing some preload will allow more transfer although I am not sure why this is their recommendation. On the apex I just set 0 toe, loosened the front shocks and set the center shock so the track was flat when it was lowered to the ground...
With a scale. Either a bathroom scale (protected by something so the carbides don't bite in, or some kind of hanging scale which you can then measure off of the a-arm. The 70% doesn't come from the center shock, it comes from the front ski shocks. Loosen the front ski shocks so the arms are...
The boost spikes I guess are normal but it means that the ECU really thinks that the throttle is not solid at 100%. Changing the scale just makes it more visible. No idea however why the map without the throttle dips has the boost running lower... unless. If you go back to the map that has...
Oh.. you are right.. hmm.. The TPS thing seems to be real at least that there is a correlation between what the sled thinks is happening and what is happening to boost. Can you switch the scale on the left so it is boost instead of mph?
You see a boost spike after every throttle glitch and a small drop in speed after the big one at 143. This seems like its a real issue with the TPS and is likely keeping you from building boost.
What remains to be seen is how well the electronics stand up, and by that, I primarily mean how well the harnesses stand up over time. I think most riders will be super happy with the results.
As I understand it, the main difference between dynamix (IMU based) adaptive shocks and smartshocks are;
Smartshocks will know sooner about a change in terrain and it can react to very granular changes. The strength of smartshocks is that it can react on a shock by shock basis. Lets say you...
Post 37 has all of the right information
It is all in one spot. The spreadsheet and the PDF have all parts. If you order all the parts off of either list there is a chance that you will overspend by $73.00 because you may already have some of the parts on your sled after you remove the...
This should be a list of only unique parts.

In the spreadsheet (not the pdf) there is a hidden column G which shows you parts (marked with x) which are common to the existing sled. The only unknown is quantities which may/may not be the same as you already have. The total value of the common parts is ~$73.00, its mostly small stuff...
I bet if you measured both the rip2 1.5 and this track by how much snow they could move (number of paddle surfaces engaged, etc) it would be surprising. It won't dig as deep as the rip2 and that may turn into just less traction in the wrong conditions but I think for a packed trail track it is...
