One other thing that I put on my sled that has made a noticeable difference was the anti- vibe Riser designed to remove the engine vibration that one would feel at some ( not all ) speeds. My hands no longer feel any vibration so to speak…
Good Points and I agree. I personally try to maintain some kind of shape , stay active, and watch my sugar intake … I think as I age it get harder to do this… Success breeds inactivity in many cases… Not in my case but who don’t like a good meal…
Good Point, I have run 6” dooleys for a long time and found they are a big part of my set up as they track straight allowing me to really relax my arms , hands, fingers on straight aways , but still have proper bite to rail around the turns…
There is no reason to get sore arms riding your snowmobile unless your sled is so fast it rips your arms right out of your socket’s…. I know there are a few that has been there and done that but most will never reach those G- forces… There are a couple of things that can cause sore arms, wrist...
Yes I also heard that late summer cooler than normal and early winter… We are due for a good winter as the last three were very mild here in the Michigan ….
Ya we had over 36” on the ground for 8 days and lost all of it…. I was very fortunate to get out and ride four days… Last Friday it was 62 and we played golf …. That was a first for February..
Green Loctite is some serious stuff.. I wonder if your going to have trouble getting it apart if the need arises? I feel for you not getting any riding in this year… Just getting a couple of blast offs go a long way to a much better attitude when you got a new sled just calling your name…...
Yes I agree it is no doubt a well done good looking sled… Depending on who did the work , knowledge behind that work it could be a great deal if you just want a ready built drag sled . Iam sure they got alot more than the asking price in it .. Condition of and past use is everything in the...
Already some pretty good deals in our area which makes our resale less …. This just confirms my opinion that most all sleds are overpriced to start with… And thats same in most other motor sports at this time…
Your right on the mark at 58 mm. With a big tune big gains can be made without a very low wild first gear( high belt on secondary) or a max overdrive ( high belt on primary) as these conditions attribute to belt issues in some cases.. Whats more important is having the right shift both ways at...
Interesting to say the least and not normal and makes no sense… You had sled apart to fix leaks so I would start by checking your work , checking for broken spring, waste gate and or blow off value problems, since your problem is inconsistent performance…
Your up in UP maybe you could get them to rent the track for a one night race of Sidewinders when ice is smooth say the week before the soo and have a real International 20 lap winner take all sidewinder only race… Bet that would turn into a major race in no time at all…
I believe the International 500 has a limit to size of engine that can be used… In regards to a Yamaha motor a three cylinder naturally aspirated four stroke is the limit ( no turbo) and a two stroke its 600 cc maximum… modifications are allowed but not in increased size of bore or stroke...
Quickest thing ever to open your wallet.. Lol … Gives anyone the information needed for their next purchase… It only cost money to make the numbers Improve… A dragy will have you looking for speed like never before…
Hey thats great they got into the show.. Now if they can make it last and keep some consistent speed they should do ok and hopefully be there at end where it counts… Go Yamaha ……
