they usually plug in individually into the harness. just have to trace them down to the plugs below the plastics.

the gf gets better milage out of a belt than i do as my apex's are clutched agressively and i am more of a throttle jockey than she is. she tends to get 3-4000 mi how she drives if i do not run that sled too much.

i usually only get around 2-3000 km on a belt on average without towing anything.

mount a peice of aluminum plate behind the gauge on the hood that has enough room to mount a ram mount ball to for the gps mount. mine is on a ram ball mount on my lake effect riser but it is a smaller hand held unit.

the death grip gets me every time. now i pull on the bars and much better. bar riser was a must as without it i would have had to limit riding years ago as my carpel tunnel did not like my hands lower than my shoulders.

try it with one bar showing if controls work. if they do not, you might have to take them apart and clean the contacts.

SKU 05-138-99 is the part # on royal distributing here in canada. says it is a direct replacement for yamaha 8FA-26311-00-00 and in the find parts for my ride section i used a 2005 rx1 mountain limited as my sled and they said it fits.

just looked up on local aftermarket parts store and they show a listing for spi making one for that sled.

fixing stuff i am reponsible for. sled in the way atm but an atv project is most likely next. just have to get it running for starters lol.

can i ask what oil was last put into it? if it was energy conservation oil full synthetic, it was known to cause this issue in the past. i would make sure the starter is turning the right way 1st. did one on atv and was supplied one that was wrong rotation for the atv i was working on. did...

you need to restrict /shut off coolant flow to the carbs as well as flip the flap that is usually on there factory so that the heat gets away from the carbs. had to do this on my 05 rx warrior when riding in current temps. i carried a pinch pin in the glove box to put on the coolant line to...
