I have a 2011 apex xtx that rides really rough. I have all setting on lightest setting. I have installed star kit. I was told that springs form a Nytro may help. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

in my 11 xtx i run the 09 nitro xtx springs without the star kit. stock ones on it would not move. what i would do is grab a buddy and check that when you are sitting on the sled that the rear transfer is at 40/60 or 50/50 on the transfer assembly. i prefer the 40/60 as it allows for snow build up in the tunnel. i just replaced the springs on my 11 as they where weak after 15000 mi of abuse i mean riding.

There is no transfer setting at the rear arm when you have the Star kit installed. Transfer is controlled by the limiter straps and preload on the center shock.in my 11 xtx i run the 09 nitro xtx springs without the star kit. stock ones on it would not move. what i would do is grab a buddy and check that when you are sitting on the sled that the rear transfer is at 40/60 or 50/50 on the transfer assembly. i prefer the 40/60 as it allows for snow build up in the tunnel. i just replaced the springs on my 11 as they where weak after 15000 mi of abuse i mean riding.

I just finished putting on a set of springs from a 09 nytro springs. The ride is considerably better but the back end sure sits low. I appreciate any of the input to this issue . I'm for a few days riding in Idaho so here is hoping all goes well. There is no transfer setting at the rear arm when you have the Star kit installed.
