I do all of it and more because I can do myself . I do a lot of riding 8000km this year, So I try to prevent any break downs and loose any riding time waiting for parts. I also enjoy working on my sled but do not enjoy being broke down lol

I pulled the skid out of a friends sled with 1100km use 2 winters. had to replace the tri hub bearing and the brake side bearing was in bad need of cleaning and new grease. I don't think it the millage but more the water left in there. I put 7000km my sled last year and my bearing were in better...

16, 17 , 18 cant be turbo because of the rods. Rods are not a problem on less you want to turbo it. then you need and 14 or 15.

where can you get the bushing? For me the replace top 21 T gear in Canada it $100. What is the inside and out side D of the bushing?

I would put it back in place and put a plate on the inside and make it to the bulk head.

did you replace the bulk head when you did damage to a arm and lower sub frame? if not Was this on the same side as the a arm you replaced? Could of been damage then and over time let go.

When I got this sled xtx 2016 used with only 1400km I had a vibration. I never had it in my stx dx 146. first thing I check was the belt, it had burn spot on it. changed the belt and no more vibration.

The ski rubber for btx will not work good for you as the spindle is different. I tried one off friends btx and and ski was to loose.

Be very interested if the 2020 viper got a different flash that the most recent flash we just got. I don't understand why they would they would come out with a new flash for older viper and then 2 months later a different flash in the 2020.

The viper is now only listed as 33.6 liter gas tank. before it was listed as 37 liters. it must have the same tank as the sidewinder now.

I think it's all a joke. Either you go big or go home. Only seen 2 models with the viper engine. and no more XTX viper . this was one of there best selling sleds. So there big change for 2020 was the 600 transporter with a arctic cat engine lol

was also looking and could not fine anything. Checked arctic cat also. not a lot of info there either. but could not see the 7000 model listed on there site.
