Skidoo makes scratchers ,rail ice scratchers , google, a coil spring with a long part doing the scratching, you can back up no problem, the cable keeps moving and doesn’t do krap on ice.

They have to learn how to drive, groomed trails mine hooks up, studs only work on ice, people need to control throttle, I can ride down trails without spinning, I see studded sleds flying around corners and blowing of the snow. To many throttle jockeys, trying to keep up people.

Did you use air riveter with rivets from oem source, proper rivets

Clutch sticking binding, dismantle take spring out by hand move in and out should be smooth without any sticking, it could be this. Give it a try to rule out ,also look at rollers and weights for wear.

Why do people think the belt has to be 1/8 in above secondary? It doesn’t matter , belt deflection measured with straight edge clutch to clutch with ruler pushing down on belt ,measuring about 1 1/4 ,1/2 look in manual you don’t want squealing and track moving you’ll have wear.

Why would you wait to 4500 miles to change belt or broke, didn’t the belt become thinner after 2000 and lose performance,just curious.
