Just got home from Hurley and there is some good and some bad with this flash. First temps were from highs of 8 degrees and lows of -5f, and morning starts were not impressive at all. Cranks very slow and have to crank for long time before it starts and still dies after it fires then it cranks...

The backfire happens every now and then after a good pull, but the shutting off I wouldn't think that would be normal unless it is reaching a high engine temp from idling to long

I would replace belt first and see if that cures it, might be slipping. Otherwise you need to add some weight to the tips of clutch weight arms to reduce rpms a little

Gonna give the new flash a good test this weekend in hurley. My 16 has always had a idle hunt and a few backfires along with 2-3 tries on starts at times but has always started. supposed to be somewhat cold this weekend in hurley

Thinking about adding a 46/40 helix and orange secondary spring to see what it will do for me, already have the thunder products venom kit. what is the difference between the bdx and the Dalton, because there is a $35.00 difference in price. Or would this just be a waste of money

just installed stingrays center shock spring and noticed how close or tight the spring is to the shock and the upper shock boot is kinda floppy now due to the smaller spring. I am assuming this is normal ? And about many turns should the collar be turned after spring starts to tighten? I did 5...
