Yes, I will tape up one side where the vents are close to the windshield and see if it makes a difference on that side. The two 1/4 inch holes I drilled in the dash to "vent" heat onto windshield did not seem to work. Tommorow will be trapping on the line so -34 forecast we will see if this works!!

Art, good day!!my VK seems to throw a lot of condensation-exhaust and freezes over windshield when it is like -20 below or more. Have you had any issues like this?

YK MP., wow!! Good thing you guys were ok. Dipping in the water when in minus weather can be fatal! On sea over flow this weekend went up to my knees when checking trail, no fun! - 34 but luckily cabin was 15 minutes away, took all day to dry boots etc., how's sled now?

I see that the 2018 model VK pro ii does have EPS installed. So I was wondering if anyone has tried it-feedback and if mod kit available for the other VK models.

Thank you for the question. It seems to come from the engine. I have the mod kit on it that has the exhaust exit from the rear of the seat. But that eliminates ice build up in tunnel, works good. The hood fits snug, so only idea I had it was exhaust- engine coming from vents. At - 20 or more...

The VK Pro has done 300+ Km's so far in cold, marginal snow conditions. A work out to drive with the 11" skins. Tuned the front suspension down to third notch. More stable. Put two 1/4 inch holes near windshield on dash each side, left and right. Puts some heat on windshield keeps frosting...

VK Pro ii 2016 is a warm sled. On trap line today, -38 with wind . Arms got a goodWork out on tundra twisting trail.., marginal snow. Going to put a set of more agressieve runners on and probably take off the 11" inch ski skins. Put them back in in spring. Would be nice to see how power steering...

I went with the 11" ski skins helps with the tippyness and also tune down front suspension from setting 1 to 3rd setting helps stability and no darting. Looks kind of goofy but works good. The mod on the exhaust has kept ice build up in tunnel at a minimum.

YK have you adjusted fron suspension, i.e. I saw on an earlier post that some VK folks had turned their front suspension down to the 3rd or 4th notch on theshock/spring to get extra weight on the front skis for the stability. Mine came from dealer on the first setting so I was thinking to move...

Well pulled the trigger on the VK Pro. Had the tunnel exhaust mod done, added the 11" ski skins, Woody cabide runners, marginal snow kit (set bogie wheels). Had it out today 50 Km's -25 celcius - 34 with wind chill! Added an extra wind screen on windshield. Pros: lots of power, comfortable...

Very good!! Will download!! Yes, block heater helps and so does the battery blanket for the 4 strokes!
