Thanks Superfan,
I am going to turn up the spring tention a little on the next ride in the rear. It does bottom out once in a while. One thing I forgot to mention is with the Fox Floats, it lifted the inside skI bad on the corners. Now with the GYTR front shocks, she corners nice and flat.
I now have about 650 miles on my sled with the Z1 skid. I started out using Fox Float II shocks. I did not like the ride so I bought a set of GYTR shocks. This is now the best riding sled that I have ever owned. I went with the 128- 1 inch Hacksaw track and I can say that I think the sled hooks...
Here an update pic of my 2005 RX1 with the Cat skid that I installed this year. I also put on a set of Fox Float IIs. I did not like the ride of the Floats. I think they needed a revalve to make them work. I have removed them and put on a set of GYTRs that I will try for the first time next...
I have put on about 10 miles on my sled around home but not much snow. So far it seems to ride awesome.
Heading to Newberry this weekend to put some miles on to test out the nea skid. Excited to see how it does. I will report on Monday with how it does.
Thanks
It runs very well for a sled with old man mirrors. Makes even worse to get beat by it. Lol
Next year I will put an Apex seat on it and hand guards with mirrors.
Here is a updated pic of my 05 with the Z1 Skid installed. I also put on a tunnel extension, Float 2 shocks, new front suspension bushings, Apex Radiator and fan, GPS.
I just finished my sled today. We have a little snow so I took it for a little ride. It rides amazing. I can't wait to get it on the trails.
I also put on the new tunnel extension, front suspension bushings , Fox Float 2s, front Apex radiator and fan, and GPS.
Here are a couple pics.
I changed my front suspension bushings this year. After I changed them I put the sled back on the ground and tried to push down on the suspension and back off. The suspension wouldn't move. I put it back in the air and removed the bottom shock bolt. I then tried to pull up on the A arms but they...

I am sure the mono is a good skid and a definite upgrade to your skid. There are too many people that like the skid for it to be junk. I may have been too rough on mine in the bumps. My rails broke, W arm broke. Slides wear out too fast. Added bigger boggie wheels and marginal wheels and...
I started changing my bushings today. It kicked my butt. The bushings in the spindle were rusted to the bolts and you can't get heat to them to bust the rust. What a pain. I still have to take the arms out of the chassis. I hope that goes better. If the bolts would have come out I probably...
