It was really surreal when it happened, I was literally standing in the trail watching it all. It only lasted maybe 6-8 seconds from start to finish.
I switched the new one out with a 6.5" black AC Riser and tightened it myself. The same issue won't happen again.
I will also wear my tether...
Well I crashed my first sled after 25 years of riding. I wasn't on it when it crashed fortunately.
My son and I were heading back to the cabin on Dec. 27th on a feeder trail with snirt and water bars. Normally I throttle a little on the water bars and just hop over but on this trail it was...
Allstate - My 2014XTX now deceased (collapsed riser pinned throttle to tank and the rest is history) was 240.00/yr. My replacement 2015 XTX is 267.00 (the plus 27.00 was for sled value, not a result of the payout). In NH Allstate uses the same coverage numbers you have on your car 100/300/50...

Center shock, stock - 16 threads of pre-load
Straps - stock
Air pressure in front 65psi off ground cold
Rear shock 145psi off ground cold - tried 120-150 now
My 2014 ALWAYS returned to the top when I got off it with 130psi in the shock and squatted about 3" when I sat on it.
Sting - I have read most of that thread, however isn't it about the forward shock and spring combo in relation to handling?
I believe the issue I am having is with the rear shock allowing the back of the sled to sag.
I have a 2015 XTX SE with the float 2 in the back.
It has 100 miles on it and aside from the initial break-in they were average miles.
When you sit on it it will squat about 5" (I weigh 175) and rebound on its own about 3" when you get off. To get it back to the top again you actually have to...
Welcome to the forums!
It sounds like you are dialing it in pretty quickly.
The power plant is great, so I think the clutching or gearing options can make it perfect for anyone willing to do it.
Does anyone know the spec of the oil tank plug?
I want to get a remote for it like one of these but I need the thread size.
