I saw your post over on Dootalk so you will get some feedback there as well. I will post here to not get too much blowback!
I personally love the one quote that when you buy a 998 it’s like 2 Sled’s in 1: half throttle is a 900r, full throttle is 998.
But on a more serious note, it does all...
Now that these sleds have been out for a couple years, what are people's impressions for a trail sled vs the 137? Do they still corner decent with the extra length and how is the ride compare to the fully coupled skid of the 137?
So I guess there is no concensus on what's better for higher HP trail riding? ADAPT, TAPP or PB80?
Someone gained 4mph switching stock clutch to an ADAPT.
Someone else gained 4 mph moving from ADAPT to a PB80. lol SO that's 8 mph better?! Or were those replies sarcastic?
How is this working out for you ? I may have to do the same thing, mine keep pulling out as well! Tried a few different style rivets. Looks like you cut back the bumper a bit to install? I know a lot of those holding the bracket in are 'blind' because they go into the bumper itself
Did you find stronger rivets to use instead of those factory huck ones? I have tried stainless steel and more recently the Advel/stavex ones suggested and they STILL loosened/failed!
I had a 2022 with EPS and struggled to find good cornering ability without push or dart. The Stryke wasn’t ideal, tried 5.7R as well as 6.9 pilots and both those were better than a Stryke. I’m not a snow tracker guy although I’m sure it would sold most of the issues.
I know have EPS on my older...
Great, thanks so much for your insight on this! I think I may try this clutch next, will just order the base clutch in that case. When you order from CV-Tech they seem to ask for HP, so Imagine they are at least putting a bit of weight in it and maybe a different (single) spring.
SO you're saying the base clutch should be good higher HP? Like 280HP?
I see conflicting messages on that. Some say you need HD spring cup, dual spring etc....I'm a fast trail rider, no racing. Just want to make sure RPMS are correct and that clutch can handle the HP.
A PB80 is about $950 CDN complete for 280HP. The ADAPT is $526 CDN (390USD) plus you need a billet cover ($300), Weights and spring ($400). So its still a bit more expensive for the ADAPT.
I may just stick with TEAM for half the price. I see them for $500 USD ($675 CD) and needing weights and...
The snowcheck is live for Arctic cat right now.

T-cat or 9000RR is $28,839 CAD....I wonder what winder pricing will be?
Catalyst 858 starts at just over $19k CAD which is cheaper than I thought it would be!
Yes. The EPS reads speed data from the ECU via CANBUS connection. IT decreases assist with speed like factory OEM. No need for the ECU, the EPS unit only reads speed data and adjusts accordingly. I have installed this on my 2019 and works the same as my 22 did.
Update: just bought a new module and 02 sensor and will install tonight. I figure one or other is bad!
I could have just un-plugged the 02 but I dont like seeing error codes.
Will see how it runs this weekend.
I think he means the requirements for clubs to open trails. They have to have all signage up, trails inspected, etc before they officially groom it and say its open (even if there's enough snow).
The trail map is not up to date right now because of that, and the best information on conditions is...
