I think I paid about $200 with shipping from Alberta to Manitoba. Greyhound is reasonable for shipping.
If you can find them used try to get the bolts and rubber pad with them as they are differnt from the stock skis. Also if they aren't from a Phazer or Nytro then you will need to buy...
Those look like Curve XS skis.
As for what's best you'll get a lot of different opinions. I've never used the Curve XS skis but I've used both Slydogs and Yamaha MTX skis. Personally I like the MTX skis, which is what I'm using on my 136".
My MTX skis were takes off from a Nytro out...
I don't know how Yamaha configured the ecu but based on it being an open loop system here is my thought.
The ecu looks at air temp and pressure (and throttle position) and sets a a/f ratio based on a predefined tables. When the computer "loses" a sensor it would be programmed to go to the most...
I wonder if with the intake temperature sensor disconnected the computer added more fuel. Then when you restarted there was already extra fuel in the cylinders?
Do you think given my lighter weight I would be able to keep the rpm up in the deep snow?
I'm also running 18/41 for gearing but with less track than you.
That 20% - 30% of the time off the trial can look more like this (pre 136):
I'm about 150lbs so with gear I'm guessing around 180lbs.
I'm probably 70% to 80% trail so the 41 sounds like a good compromise between the three.
I'm really kicking myself, the 97 Phazer SS I sold in 2006 to buy this Phazer had the new clutch with a 41 in it.
I'm looking at converting to the new style secondary and am hoping you guy can give me some advice on a good starting point for a helix and spring. I'd like to find a clutch with the correct helix and then just replace the spring as they are a lot cheaper.
The current setup is:
Stock 39*...
I was wondering if anyone has see or used this trunk bag: http://www.gearscanada.com/snowmobile/tail-bags/rage-4-tail-bag.html? Or even heard of the company.
I like the idea of the bungees on the outside and it looks like you could strap a shovel to it. It seems somewhat universal and larger...
The front shocks on an 07 GT are rebuilable. They should be aluminum bodied but with no external resivoir or rebound or compressing adjustments.
They actually are pretty good. My brothes got an 08 GT with the clickers and I don't really notice any difference when riding his.
Darn, I thought it might be a simple answer.
I was just rereading the manual and I think you are suppose to test first without oil down the cylinder, then if the test is low add oil. If the number is the same for both the it's likely a valve out of adjustment. If it gets higher with oil then...
That's a good point. I'm not sure how that would affect it but there was an update for the 2007 models that changed the decompression to allow them to start easier. Might want to check the spec for the 2008 models and see if they were different.
