I bought a 2007 gt phazer last winter and I need to get new suspension front and rear as the original is blown and not rechargeable. What are my options? I have read about getting other rtx suspension and getting it revalue and i have come across fox floats. Is there a better option? So far all options such look expensive.

I would look for used Phazer RTX skid shocks and either Floats or GYTR clicker front shocks used on 07' FX and 08' and newer GT Phazers. X2 for reaching out to Travis. G.B.

X3 on calling Travis. Make sure you also check to see if your front arm and link are the updated parts. Travis can probably hook you up with updated arm and link if need be as well.
I just went through this on project Ditch Cricket, and yes, it's wasn't cheap. I got Fox Zero Pro's and skid update parts from Travis for the rear, and Clickers for the front from another member on TY.
You can post WTB in the classifieds, and may get a lead there.
Good luck with your project.

I notice you are from sask, anything cross border will kill you for shipping. First I would call Frank and Shok-Tec and see what he has or what he can build you (located in Canada) http://www.shocktec.ca/
Also if your shocks are all worn out you will have a lot of other things worn out too. Check all your bushings and rods in the skid once you have it apart. If you buy new and are on a budget I would call Scmidt Bros racing and go with their Fox stuff. http://www.schmidtbrosmotorsports.com/yamaha-phazer-snowmobile/suspension-parts-pz/ But again, exchange and shipping will kill you so try within Canada first.

The front shocks on an 07 GT are rebuilable. They should be aluminum bodied but with no external resivoir or rebound or compressing adjustments.
They actually are pretty good. My brothes got an 08 GT with the clickers and I don't really notice any difference when riding his.

Thanks for the good info. I didn't realize you could rebuild gt front shocks. So I will try to get them rebuilt and find a used rear shock to have rebuilt or pay the money for fox floats.
I also need the rear shock dampener. I haven't come across that yet. Any ideas...
As well are the fox floats worth the money over rebuilts?

I would say on Phazer front that no the floats aren't better than the rebuildables. If you have to spend $ best $ spent will be on the rear/rear shock. Really like my Axis but Fox would give you the most good options for revalving since all the shock guys do Fox. Is a few guys who found used Polaris shocks that they said fit and worked well. May want to research that if $ is tight.
