You are corect the caliper was moving up and down and cracked the chassis it is now repaired stronger than original and without the secondary hole drilled through tunnel.

My sled threw a 42 code which i fixed, but after a 20 km ride mu odometer now has an extra 1100 km on it, anyone else have this issue? Any fix for this?

Im not sure about the internals but the clutch was bought from cv tech in quebec and in description it said pre calibrated for sidewinder 998.
We bolted it on and drove it.
Shifting seemed bang on. Really liked it eill just have to see how it fairs out in the long run stay tuned

Just wanted to recap, finished season with about 1100 kms on the clutch and on a stock winder i think its the way to go!

Getting ready for another season, I have 3 winder driveshafts that need to be done. Looking for opinions, stock yamaha or anyone using the bdx shaft.
2 sleds are 2017 ltx and third is a 2018 ltx All 3 have 8-12 k on them.

I sure do miss the real yamahas of past i know from first hand experience cat will never come close to the same quality control yamaha had at their factory but those are thoughts of years past dont think we will see a japanese built performance sled...
I have 3 sidewinders 2 2017s and a 2018 all have had enough issues with all the servo motors that make me want to embark on this adventure. What i would really prefer to do is build a whole new chaincase but that is beyond my scope at the moment.
