I have the same sled and installed studs 2 years ago. I called my dealer about protection and was told I did not need it with that sled. I like to be careful so called another dealer and got the same answer. I put 108 up the middle and have had no problems after more than 13,000 km. Good luck,

I think I might add a couple of drops of light oil occasionally, should not hurt anything and might help. Compressors are notorious for picking up moisture, especially in mild weather.

I have been wondering the same thing. I plan on going with snowtrackers this year, just not sure whether to use the stock skis from my 2012 Vector or the tuners I bought last year. I like the extra width to the tuners, but not sure about the dual runners with the ST's.

Hi yamahatd. The extra wheels were an option. I wanted them because I seem to remember someone else on this thread they may be needed. My Vector has done well with hyfax. I have had well over 6,000 km per set in each of the last 2 years. They seem to wear very quickly to a certain point but...
