The amsoil mention is "gear oil"and a specific weight for the application.When you say gear oil I can only imagine what someone may throw in there.

Man, Just bought a new to me 16 viper. Checked the dealer it was bought from new and they (sent me the paper work proving) said it has the latest flash before it even went to the original new owner. Cant wait to see what I get... That's why The Apex I just got off of ant going nowhere!

Glad your Klim stuff is holding up well, so is mine. I would think they don't have a choice on the quality of the phones they make.....hundreds of millions if not a billion phones better work! Don't agree there is a lot of "high end" stuff made there either.

Ya..... I have that info too cannondale but have never seen anyone claim or post the barn of parts soft start spring rate specs ? makes me want to invest in a spring rate tool....

Anyone know what the Barn of parts "soft start" spring rates are? start and finish rates compared to the stock viper spring? Thinking about getting one as long as it has a final rate of the stock viper spring.... I have never seen them posted .

I would stick with Yamaha chain case lube or for that matter any of the oem sled makers lube. It is made for the temps and conditions of the chain case. I have used amsoil chain case lube for years in all makes of sleds with excellent results. Have never wore a chain and gears out and stays...
