I"ve ridden 1,400 miles this season so far and this kit was a waste of life and money. I put the kit in before I started the season and it may have been quieter for the 1st 50 miles but since has been loud and clanky like the rest.
I'm not running the command but I am running the Slydog Attack ski with 7.5 Shapers. I just got back from a 1,000 trip up in maine and like these skis for the trail. Still making slight changes to center shock to get a perfect balance between transferring to lighter steering/ no darting and...
I’ve been putting the miles on the SW and playing with suspension adjustments to get it to my liking. As I was going over everything to see if I had any leaks or loose clamps again, I’ve noticed some weeping coming out of the top banjo fitting on the turbo.
I’ve bleed the coolant a few times...
Are these jump packs safe to use...JIC? Years ago I used this on a 450 outlander and it blew the ecm. I've read a couple post here talking about not disconnecting until the sled is actually shut off?
Did test and #'s are all over the place and showing bad...it looks like a few options are available. 1. OEM 2. SP1 Aftermarket or 3. RMStator Aftermarket. Pricing looks about equal on all 3. the OEM I just pulled out doesnt look like its sealed very well?
Sled is back together and got a chance to warm it up in the yard at least with a few inches of snow. Voltage showing on Guage cluster only showing 11.8-12.5 volts.
Most likely the voltage regulator. I'm going to pull it out and do the test that was posted. Any ideas besides that? Stator...
I'm in the Sunapee area...all lakes here are still wide open. I grew up riding lakes and I wouldn't trust anything from here or north yet. Glad we got snow but it's a recipe for disaster for the ice.
pulled fuses and relays 1 at a time...nothing. Battery fuse obviously goes to 0. Pulled every connector I can reach...nada.
I can live with it. If I don't ride in season within 52 days before going dead, I doing as something wrong. Thank you for the help.
The PO was a complete tool so I had no idea what he may or may not have done. After going over this sled ski tip to snow flap, it just looks like it sat in a shed...how long, idk? I always run a pigtail off the battery for easy trickle charge so thats not an issue. I have yet to be able to...
Relays are sealed, Did get a volt reading last evening and again today...they were the same @ 12.7. I hooked up my multi-meter to the neg battery side and showed a draw of 16ma...which I believe is acceptable?
I've had my battery on a tender while cleaning up my 2020 ltx se...its new to me and has only 300 miles on it. When i bought it the PO told me he put in a new battery due to something always drawing on it...obviously a "stink eye" moment. Fast forward to today and as I was hooking up the...
Assembling stub shaft tomorrow...shaft is in the freezer. My question is how much green loctite do I apply to the surface of the outer bearing to housing?
