I got one from Precision last week.Haven't put it on yet.New plugs and flushing the gas tank seems to have straightened out the backfiring.I was hesitant to blame the gas as my sled was the only one out of 12 to experience any issues. When I pulled the sparkplugs out the PTO side one was damp and...
I've seen that exact idler on a couple web sites but they all have a 6205. I ended up with a couple designed after the newer Doo style and just put them on tonight. I'm hoping to get one or maybe 2 more rides in to see how they hold up.
Can someone confirm that JT wheels will fit the inner idler position now?I am trying to find a wheel that'll last with studs. The last 2 inner skid wheels lasted 145 miles and they are now destroyed.I've tightened the studs twice now,to the point I'm thinking the aluminum nuts are at their max...
I've searched with no luck and even had to call the local dealer who was no help either. Is there a part number for the filter that snaps onto the fuel pump itself? No parts diagrams I have looked at yet have it,only the Y section with the 2 end filters.Do you have to buy the whole pump to get a...
One of the other guys on the ride with me actually had mentioned his sled had a pretty similar issue and it was the plugs. The sled has around 6500 km on it.
Draining the gas was actually my first thought and will try that before tearing the tank apart.I was the first one to gas up on the opposite side of a pump from another guy and he had no running issues like what I experienced. The condition never really got less prevalent,I only started noticing...
Negative on the limp mode, and I actually cracked the fuel cap a couple of times when it was acting up but it made no difference.Assuming the TORS acts the same as on the old 2 stroke by limiting the engagement, this is not that.
'19 SRX all stock and yesterday it started backfiring and hesitating for no real reason. Was working like a champ until our group fueled up then a couple miles down the trail it started hesitating and backfiring. My sled was the only one doing this out of 12 so I wasn't sure what to think. I...
Well that was another question I should have posted here as well and thanks for reminding me.How big a job is it to take the housing apart? I haven't even looked at it that closely yet.
What info is stored in the gauge cluster? I have some damage to the back of mine and it wont lock back into the mounting hole due to a piece missing from the round locking mechanism. If I have to change the gauge to another one will I have to take it to a dealer to have the info like mileage...
For light snow I use a wide push broom but heavy stuff a roof rake with a strip of rubber screwed to the edge does the trick. My shell has screws all over the top and the rubber helps the edge not get snagged on them, otherwise it's a fight with the constant hooking of the screws.
I was searching through my service and owners manuals for fluid capacities for my '19 SRX and could not find a specs page with these on it. I remembered seeing the page on this forum under SRX specs so I got the info I needed. Was the pages in the specs listing taken from a different manual? Or...
It stands to reason the Cat bumpers are the same, but I have read on a different forum that there was subtle differences between the two where something had to be modified for one to fit on a Winder. Air riveter I have and yes they save a PILE of work.I even have a box of Stavex rivets to use.
Of all threads I can find on the Winder front bumper, none state just what is required to remove/replace one.I will upgrade the one on mine eventually and would like to know ahead of time what I need for fasteners and how the old ones are accessed and removed. Also does the Cat one fit or not? I...
What is the eye to eye extended length of the rear shock on a 2011 Apex? A friend of mine broke his last season and all he has left is the reservoir so he can't even measure what's left. Or what else will fit that skid?
